sri ram chandra kripalu bhajuman haran bhav bhaya darunam |

nava kanja lochan kanj mukh kar kanj pad kanjarunam ||1||

O my mind, sing glory of sri ramchandra who is compassionate who destroys the fear of world

and whose eyes, face, hands, feets are like newly blooming lotus ||1||

kandarpa aganit amit chhavi nava neela nirad sundaram |

patapit manahu tadit ruchi suchi naumi janaka sutavaram ||2||

Sri Ram is attractive than the innumerable Kamadevas put together,

his body is like newly formed dense blue cloud

whose yellow robes are shining like lightening in his body whose beauty is gleaming, and

who is consort of daughter of Janak ||2||

bhaju din bandhu dinesh danav daitya vansha nikandanam |

raghunanda ananda kanda kaushal chanda dashratha nandanam ||3||

Sing praises of sri ram O mind, who is friend of the distressed and light of the world

and who destroys the lineages of demons

who is scion of raghu, source of all the happiness and moon of kosala kingdom and son of dashratha

seera mukuta kundal tilak charu udaru anga vibhusanam |

ajanu bhujh sar chaap dhar sangram jita khar-dushanam ||4||

Sing praises of sri ram O mind, who is adorned with crown on his head and ear ornaments,

who has auspicious mark on forehead and body is decorated by beautiful ornaments,

who has long arms reaching his knees who holds bow and an arrow,

who defeated khar and dushan in battle

iti vadati tulsidas sankar sesha muni ranjanam |

mam hridaya kunja nivasha kuru kamadi khal dal ganjanam||5||

Thus says Tulsidas, to please shiv, shesh and mind of saints,

stay in my heart (rama) like a lotus flower (that grows out of mud), and

destroy the evils generated by desires

Chhanda

manahu jahi raacheu milahi so baru sahaj sundar savaro |

karuna nidhan sujana seelu sanehu janat ravaro ||

(Devi Gauriji grants boon to Devi Sita)

As in your mind has become attached, you will get the same beautiful man

(Shri Ramchandraji) by nature.

He is the treasure of mercy, discipline and all knowing.

yehi bhanti gauri asisa suni siya sahit hiya harshi ali |

tulsi bhavani puji puni puni mudita man mandir chali  ||

Hearing the blessings of Devi Gauriji in this way,

all the friends including Jankiji were joyful from their heart.

Tulsidasji says that after worshiping Bhavani (Devi Gauriji) again and again,

Sitaji returned to the palace with a happy mind.

Sortha

manjul mangal mul vam anga farkan lage ||

Knowing Devi Gauriji as favorable, the joy that happened in Sitaji’s heart cannot be described.

All of the auspicous sign started showing up.
